Forex fraud is a growing problem. It can be found everywhere from boiler room scam artist's, to some guy you met at the coffee shop the other day, even past trusted brokers and executives have been involved in forex scams.


The most common victims are the one's who think it will never happen to them. Though there is no guaranteed way to avoid forex fraud, it is possible to trade, minimize the chance of becoming a victim of a forex scam, and prosper in the market providing you remain diligent and alert in every decision you make.

Don't let your hard earned dollars become an easy profit for some forex scam artist, make sure any person you choose to do business with is duly regulated in the country they operate from.

The United States arrested twenty-four people in thirteen countries (Bloomberg) in an undercover sting operation following an FBI investigation targeting online credit card hacking, U.S. officials said yesterday.

U.S. cybersecurity has made progress, but relies heavily on the private sector to secure infrastructure critical to national security.

Catfish, the story, pales in comparison.

The criminal mind works in mysterious ways. A clever criminal diverts attention from themselves by outing another person or group of people with the intention of taking the spotlight off of them.

Those familiar of the ongoing bashing of one particular forum will find it amazing that the forum doing the bashing .. also .. has many other sites and "webhosting" forums. This person has many identities and could be considered dangerous.

FBI: We need wiretap-ready Web sites - nowCNET learns the FBI is quietly pushing its plan to force surveillance backdoors on social networks, VoIP, and Web e-mail providers, and that the bureau is asking Internet companies not to oppose a law making those backdoors mandatory.

The FBI is asking Internet companies not to oppose a controversial proposal that would require firms, including Microsoft, Facebook, Yahoo, and Google, to build in backdoors for government surveillance.

In meetings with industry representatives, the White House, and U.S. senators, senior FBI officials argue the dramatic shift in communication from the telephone system to the Internet has made it far more difficult for agents to wiretap Americans suspected of illegal activities, CNET has learned.

The FBI general counsel's office has drafted a proposed law that the bureau claims is the best solution: requiring that social-networking Web sites and providers of VoIP, instant messaging, and Web e-mail alter their code to ensure their products are wiretap-friendly.

"If you create a service, product, or app that allows a user to communicate, you get the privilege of adding that extra coding," an industry representative who has reviewed the FBI's draft legislation told CNET. The requirements apply only if a threshold of a certain number of users is exceeded, according to a second industry representative briefed on it. Read Full Article .. Here
